That and the extra velocity are the reasons it’s more popular in PRS. The BR case is a great size for varget. The XC is great for h4350. The dasher has its down side that you have to fireform. But the fire forming loads are accurate so if you are just plinking, not a huge deal. XC has great brass in Alpha. H4895 was way slow and h4350 was ok (2850 before pressure). Varget is definitely the way to go. Much larger nodes and faster than everything else. 6gt will be about the only option for those. 6br has lapua factory, but it’s a bit on the slow side. Also, not loading your own is not gonna be conducive to small groups. Hence the EC tuner to tighten things up a bit. If you don’t want to spend $2/rnd, then 6 creed and hornady factory ammo will be the way to go.For example, there is no 6GT brass in the country, so I had to form my initial 200 cases from 6.5x47 brass. But in my experience with the GT is that it doesnt feed as well as I had hoped.
